Congratulations to the New Superintendent Finalists in Central Texas

Dr. Robert Sormani has been selected as the lone finalist in Manor ISD. With 23 years of experience in education, he brings a wealth of knowledge to the position. In New Braunfels ISD, Dr. Laurelyn Arterbury has been named as the lone finalist for the superintendent position. She is currently the Chief of Staff for Leander Independent School District and has an impressive record of accomplishments in her career. Dr. Arterbury is excited to work with the community and create a district that excels in academic achievement, student and staff well-being, and community engagement. Although there is a waiting period of 21 days before voting for final approval of the superintendent contract, her anticipated start date is May 30.
